Typical home cooking

Breakfast
Zenzai – sweet red bean soup with mochi

Lunch
Soba salad – soba with tomato chives olive oil and mentsuyu.
Cucumber w peanut butter miso mayo dip.

Dinner
Omelette rice – soft omelette and demi glacé sauce over seasoned rice.
Gobo (burdock) and carrot salad
Cabbage and Hijiki seaweed marinated w chives dashi and sesame oil.

I did binge on chocolates and full bags of potato chips or Doritos most of the nights but eating 3 healthy meals a day and playing in the pool everyday I lost almost 2kg during the holidays.

    うらやましいなぁ、ジャンクフードをたくさん食べても毎日三食ヘルシーな食事をしてスイミングするだけで体重が減るなんて!きっと若い人は代謝がいいんだよね。そういえば私も若いころは食べ過ぎても二、三日すると体重は元に戻っていたもんだ。いつまでもそのつもりでいたら体重が積み増しになるよ。そして成人病予備軍まっしぐらだね。と言いながら私は今も時々無性にジャンクフードやおかきが食べたくなるのだ。気を付けようっと。今はスイミングを週に三回から四回のペースで続けていますがお正月太りがなかなか解消せず苦戦しております。
