We tried eating at this restaurant that opened maybe around the same time as Taro’s.
Caramelized pork ribs. Really good. The kids and I fought over this one. Smothered in sweet hoisin based sauce. $18.00
Beef Pho. Light and fresh. $15.00
Green Papaya Salad with pork and prawn $15.00
Crispy Spring Rolls. Nice and fresh, made with chunky chicken mince and good zest of cracked pepper. $5.00
The menu is short and sweet. Price is on the high side compared with other Vietnamese restaurants but I can see their focus on quality and use ingredients such as free range chicken. Plus their decor and ambience are comfortable and worlds better than the cheaper outlets.
Next on my list is Green Tea another new Vietnamese restaurant in the Chinatown mall.
